I have concerns that the butchers at the top of Francis st. are permanently blocking the pavement with 3 commercial bins, a black one with an orange lid, a blue one and a green one with a blue lid.
They are not only blocking the pavement but I suspect have some unpleasant by products from the shop waste - one week there was a pungent black liquid leaking that has permanently stained the tarmac.
I would expect that these 3 commercial bins should be kept on their property and only put out on collection days, but I understand that they have made an enclosure where the bins should be stored and this area is now used for something like smoking meat, even though it is only semi-enclosed.

This is today’s litter from cost cutter in Brockley road that store their waste cardboard packaging in two cages on Harefield mews. The cages are open topped and large pieces of litter are blown down the length of the mews everyday. Their commercial bin is emptied once a week on a Tuesday but is left full of discarded food between collections which is encourages vermin including rats. This is a public health risk. -4 Harefield Mews, London, SE4 1LP

This is such a nuisance. Happens every few months. Please find a permanent solution. Allotment needs to rectify this ongoing issue. It’s blocking footpath and people are being run over by cyclists or cars as they have to walk in the road. This needs to be cleared and given a permanent solution. -10 Albyn Road, London, SE8 4EF
